The start and finish for all distances are next to the Royal Palace, the Nieuwe Kerk and the National Monument on Dam Square in Amsterdam. This square, which dates from the 12th century, has been transformed into an attractive start and finish location. Catering, lockers, toilets, live entertainment, various exhibitors with great offers, Red Cross and even a repair station are all available. It’s also possible to rent a VIP tent on Dam Square. In addition to all participants who start and finish on the Dam, other public are also welcome to take a look at this cycling party.
Start
Participants are ligned up at the Damstraat before the start sign. The post on the Dam closes at 9.45 am. Please note: the IJtunnel will be closed at 10.00 am, which is 15 minutes after the start has closed. It’s not allowed to start earlier or later.
It is possible to cycle a shorter distance on the day itself with the received stamp card. However, it’s not allowed to cycle a longer distance.
